The program lasted for a week and involved the participation of over thirty students.
The program aims to raise the awareness of the participating students about modern construction methods, promote their use, and create a feasible and attractive environment for them. Additionally, it teaches students new artistic and innovative skills in the field of construction using modern building techniques.
Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Badeer emphasized that the ministry has an ambitious plan to launch over 300,000 housing units in the next five years. Constructing such a large number of residential units using traditional construction methods is challenging. The events organized by the ministry as part of raising awareness about modern building methods showcase wonderful examples of houses built by the students. Al Badeer expressed his gratitude to the students and their parents for their efforts during the program.
On his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing for Real Estate Development explained that the participating students in the workshop were between the ages of 10 and 15, representing various schools in Riyadh. It was ensured that the program was attractive and beneficial to our students by simplifying the complex world of construction in a simple and engaging manner, developing scientific and digital skills, creating interest and raising awareness in the construction sector and modern building techniques, and stimulating creativity and innovation among students.
